Fabricate awl sheath to protect the sharp tips.

The internal component consist of several part (from right to left)
a) conical plastic tubing
b)Plastic sleeving gule with two ton gule.
c) leather washer for awl shaft to pass thru.. note item b) and c) to glue together to ensure shaft do not turn and treat like one piece.
Note the end plastic tubing could be any tube
IN my case use Pilot refill G2 pen come with a cap. Another suggestion is to get plastic tubing from clinic, syringe cap cover is suitable.
However it depend on availability of these part base on your local case to case.
Wrap the conical plastic tubing with a thin leather to add the buffer and make sheath inner layer thicker for adhesion between inner layer and outer layer
End product for this project.
