Mini Tag RFID pouch

 

This project is for a Mini Tag RFID pouch. The device is for access to barrier gate to enter an apartment/ condominium home .

To make a pouch to hold the Mini tag RFID device which is attached to a key chain.

This how the project looks like, using a snap on hook.

Check overall size and measurement and thickness is about 8 mm, width 4.5 cm and length is 5.9 cm (sorry typo error on picture).

Use circle temple to draw line before cutting, the purpose of the hole is to allow the sensor path is not block off.

Add a stiff layer to hold the button post, as the project material is too soft to support. The other purpose is to conceal the button and minimize impact to Mini tag surface.

This step is important to check how long the strap needed and hook to a snap on clip.

It essential to ensure the sensor view is not block when the key chain is folded up.

Hence see the position for snap on and position of project.

To minimize pulling stress where the snap on "ring loop" with a strap over it.

Just add a small interface material to underneath strap.

Project completed.

Remote Control Pouch #3

    👀   New year 2019 project Remote Control pouch

    New remote control pouch #3 for Fan Control module  (Panasonic Ceiling Fan) model F-M15E2, F-M14E2.

Use paper as template and draw outline
for project.

Cut veg tan for project

This is a simple project and it easy to make

from Veg Tan leather

Cut a hard paper backing for the base. Draw an outline of project and cut with scissor.

After apply glue.
Use roller over paper surface to better
 and even adhesion.

Use punch to mark round corner
to cut off

Cut side corner with sharp knife

Led sensor port hole

Cut corner with ruler to aid and align
position on both side

How stitch cover

one method to stitch the side panel

Use a special "Scissor" to access limited space for the needle to do stitching.

Tips:  use longer thread for this method to allow the top and bottom cover to have space to make
stitching easier.

Step by step on how to do stitching

Pull the thread tight.


Once the last step is done is to terminate the thread.

Key Chain #01 & Remote Control

   👏 HAPPY New Year 2019, many wishes and blessing to all.    

This is a new project to combine key chain and light remote control.

 Key chain was used with a remote control for entrance light control.

This is the current key chain and remote control configuration.

Remote control is on the right side, key chain is loop by key ring. All these are link to a hook clip.

The remote control is kept in a simple casing. It have a small flip off flap cover the remote control button.

Continue with project, it took a while for making adjustment as move forward to refine and make improvement.

it is a challenge to sew this project as there are tight corner and tight space.

Sew one side for remote control, then the real challenge on the other side.
