Non leather repair for wooden sliding door and adjustment - 木製引き戸のノンレザー修理と調整

 One sliding wooden door at time slide smoothly and at time jam (tight to move door) along the track. This repair is at UK house and notice this issue is not a major issue, as suspect it is due to door alignment, bottom track (which is not this case, as the door is hanging with a sliding mechanism. 1 つの木製の引き戸が、線路に沿ってスムーズにスライドしたり、時には詰まったり (ドアを動かすのにきつく) なります。 この修理は英国の住宅で行われていますが、この問題はドアの位置と下部のトラックが原因であると思われるため、大きな問題ではないことがわかります（ドアはスライド機構で吊り下げられているため、このケースではありません）。

Initial check on the level and gap between door bottom edge to floor (as the floor was recently re do floor board), check the door frame, check door wooden shape and design (this sliding door have glass panel). ドアの下端と床の間のレベルと隙間を最初に確認し（床は最近床板を張り替えたので）、ドアフレームを確認し、ドアの木の形状とデザインを確認します（この引き戸にはガラスパネルが付いています）。

Check for gap between door bottom edge to wooden flooring. Slide the door to verify gap changes in size.

Check on a door guide attached to wooden door. ドアの下端と木製の床の間に隙間がないか確認してください。 ドアをスライドさせて、隙間のサイズの変化を確認します。

Use a card board and mark with pencil to compare gap size. ボール紙を使用し、鉛筆で印を付けてギャップのサイズを比較します。

This sliding door have two glass panel, this make it heavier and the weight load bear on the sliding mechanism. 

Attached a card board to door bottom it is verify when door slide from right to left and vise versa does it changes in position. It is confirm gap variation when door slide along.

This sliding door do not have castor wheel or roller wheel at bottom, it have a plastic guide device.

Verify gap between floor surface to door edge.

To check the sliding mechanical is of consistent in the distance between top rail edge to door when slide door from one end (close position) to the other end (open position). ドアを一方の端（閉位置）からもう一方の端（開位置）までスライドさせるとき、スライド機構の上部レールの端からドアまでの距離が一定であることを確認します。

Use a 13mm open end spanner to tighten nut and screw. 13mm オープンエンドスパナを使用してナットとネジを締めます。

Overall view of sliding door fully open position, try a few time to open and close position and check the latch mechanism is not impacted by this adjustment.

This issue was due to top roller mechanism need adjustment and it resolve the issue.

A lot of pocket doors have random size nuts!  The best bet is to always look around your house and see if you can find the wrench that came with the door initially.  Often times carpenters will put them in a kitchen drawer.
