What
I thought was an easy repair turn into a big major repair, the issue is kitchen
sink was clog up and the water discharge (both sink left and right) at a very
slow rate.
(
6th Oct 2026 – 14th Oct 2026 ) Firtst attempt was to use
a typical plumber tools (drain buster) to force the water with a pump like
tools. It looks simple problem to solve, just a few strokes the problem will be
over.
This
tools is effective for the toilet bowl which was effective and fast, so thinking
it should be the same (boy was I wrong on the assumption and was complicated due
to the way piping was constructed and required more after thought and careful planning
and resources , skill, experience and many hours of struggle ) It is also brainstorming
like use vasline for better leakage control on the rubber seal)
The “drain buster” was for
simple clogging issue or problem.

After
several attempt with "drain buster" , tried use chemaical to unclog
the pipe. Unfornately it did not work well as plan. the next course of action is
to dismantle the sink pipe system.
This
is where I’m learn he hard way to repair
the pipe, it took several trial and error and took a lot of time to cut the pipe
up and try different way to assemble.

working with PVC conduit electricians do one of two things when bends are
involved. Either: 1) we will buy “manufactured bends” like pre-bent “90’s,
45’s, and 30’s” 2) we will use a heat gun to manually bend the conduit to fit
the application. Manufactured bends are often sold in the same aisle as the PVC
conduit itself, and come in several angles. However, sometimes the job requires
a slightly trickier bend to be made so we need to do it by hand. Often times
pre-manufactured bends are too large, or create too small of an offset so it’s
time to break out the heat gun! To bend PVC you need to have either a
high-powered blow dryer or an actual “heat gun” at your disposal. These can be
bought online or at your local Home Depot. The model I have (and prefer) is a
Wagner Furno 750. It has a digital display and will heat up to 750watts. Not
only can you hold it like a gun to heat the conduit, but you can set it upright
on the ground and roll the pipe with both hands. Not many models out there have
this functionality. The second thing to have nearby when bending conduit is a
bottle of water or a hose. When heating PVC conduit it becomes very malleable,
but it does not stay in the position you bend it without waiting quite awhile -
while holding it in the desired position. One way to speed the drying process
up is by splashing cool water on the PVC to set it instantaneously. CONTINUE

I had to bend
some pvc for an upcoming project and I had some trouble just using a heat gun,
so I had to come up with another solution. So I heated some sand on a portable
induction cook top and poured the heated sand into the taped pvc with a funnel.

Repair work done and learn a few good lessons
on the pipe, as the dischagre hole on the wall is offset there is one thing
to handle. This is the greatest challenge for me and it tricky to adjust the angle
